Mikor lesztek megint?? Van alternatíva? Hiányoztok!

Mindig barátságos, egy igazi kis relax hely a nagy rohanásban.

Friendly staff cute little quirky place. Love it!!

Kellemes óvárosi hangulatú kávézó, reggeliző közel a Duna-parthoz. A meleg ételek száma elég korlátozott, de kedves a kiszolgálás. Előfordul, hogy sokat kell várni, mert általában egyedül van az eladó.

I have always had great coffee here but today ordered 2 flat whites which were over heated and lack of creaminess. Will visit again but please provide barista training to all your staff..

Good atmosphere and great location. Located in the thinnest house in Budapest - with nice coffee

Nice staff, charming interior, good Americano.

Super cute little cafe with interior and sidewalk tables. Good cakes and tea. A perfect spot to rest after checking out the church and castle nearby.

This is a small ,delightful coffee house with inside and outside seating..Always delightful snacks and sandwiches and sweet things.. It overlooks the park and is an opportunity to 'chill' I think is the word from this 86 year old English resident....It is situated close by the Elizabeth Bridge on the Buda side.....I am a neighbour and what a great addition PICNIC is to our neighbourhood...Enjoy Budapest ! I guarantee you will..Enjoy Picnic too...

My boyfriend and I went here twice.
The first time we had an amazing experience, why we came back (tho the woman serving us didn’t smile once). We had the ham and cheese and dobbelt cheese sandwich - cheap and perfect. And really good coffee and croissants as well.
The second time it was not as good at all! They didn’t have any sandwiches (which was why we came back). We arrived at 9:05 and the waitress told us she would open in 5 minutes obviously stressed out and not smiling. When we arrived 10 minutes later she was serving other customers, obviously really frustrated throwing stuff around. Not at all service minded. We felt like being in the way. We will not return after this.
The place is only given 3 out of 5, because of the first good experience.

Great small place with Great coffee and amazing cheese and caramel cake. Good service and perfect location to chill between the main attractions.

Really lovely coffee made with coffee ground on demand not stored and the extracted using an old but high quality espresso machine.
Lovely sandwiches and cakes.
How could you possibly complain about price when coffee and a cheese, cured ham, pesto on crusty bagel comes to the equivalent of £4!!!
The lovely young lady who owns the place made me want to go out of my way to return - which I did.
Thank you

My husband and I stopped for coffee this morning. I also had tea and we each had a pastry. Such a cute place. The service was very good and the pastries were delicious. We will return tomorrow.

Very cute little cafe, pastries were amazing, especially croissants! Pretty reasonable prices too! Would recommend for breakfast on the go

We tried Picnic simply because it was near our hotel, and we were very pleased. The first few days we were there, a movie was being filmed at the restaurant, and we could not try it. But I'm so glad we had the chance later: the coffee was excellent, and the chocolate croissant was perfect - it was filled with a slightly creamy chocolate different than I'm used to in the US. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying the area or looking for a quick coffee before heading to Rudas Baths.

This little cafe on the buda side was cozy and cute. We only drank coffee and beers here on our way to Buda castle. The staff was friendly. Would go again for a quick coffee or snack.

They do have great mild coffee, few cold drinks and some sweets.
Place is tiny and cosy with few seats outside in a quiet street just next to the park area.
If you need a coffee break and some chill that’s the spot.
Nothing fancy, not very touristic and quiet.

We went there to have a quick lunch and there was no sandwiches and not possible to make some. The place is good for sweet and coffee only....

Popped in here for a quick snack whilst avoiding the rain - my husband and I each had a sandwich which was very tasty and we also shared a delicious chocolate tart. Staff very friendly, would recommend.

Great coffee stop! Friendly staff and on route to Citadella. The sandwiches and cakes looked very tasty too.

Rare to find a coffee place that can produce a good quality flat white / latte in a European city (sorry!) but this place is great and serves great coffees! Pop in on your way to Citydella. Great pastries as well...

Best coffee espresso in the area.
Dont forget to try the chocolate roll :)
Nice people, good location and atmosphere.

A cosy little place located in a quiet district in Budapest. Staff greeted us with a warm welcome and was friendly and helpful. At the time of visit no vegan option but we were told they're going to introduce that soon, however I am sure that's not a problem for most people....
One concern is maybe the lack of CC payment!
Definitely a place to recommend and I will return there for sure when I return to Budapest!

We came across "Picnic" while we were heading to Gellert Hill - the sandwiches were delicious and made with real care.
The coffees and croissant were also great.
The concept is a really lovely one - get the makings of a picnic and even rent / buy a blanket before heading outside to enjoy it!
