Very good little psychiatry. There are many mentally ill, many closed class, many nurse and psychiatrist, and the mentally ill are waiting to be photographed by the naked, naked in the cage, drugged.

Wonderful place, plenty of animal species, very clean and I had enjoyable time. I recommend it as a must see when visiting Budapest.

Really great place to spend the whole day. The only thing is that all cafes accept only cash and there is no any cash machine inside the zoo. We have no any cash. After 5 hours we became wild hungry!

Along with impressive mammals like tigers, orangutans, and the native Mangalica pig, Europe’s largest flamingo flock also lives here, as do myriad reptiles, amphibians, and interesting insects.
Very nice zoo at the edge of the city accessable by metro. It´s located in the park where is nice castle, public bath & smalll lakes.Animals are quite free here and all the expositions are interesting.

This little bakery was right next to our air bnb popped inside one morning on the way back staff were very friendly, a great choice of cakes and pastries at a low price. I had the kinder cake which was lovely and light but incredibly tasty as were the fig pastry swirls, would deff recommend popping in for a sweet treat if you are in this area

I went there for ice cream. The ice cream was delicious with some novel flavours including pumpkin/orange and beetroot. The unexpected delight was the excellent barista-made coffee. Among the best I’ve had in three weeks in Europe!

We stopped at the place while on our way to the Szechenyi spa just to have a quick morning coffee. The staff was a little slow as they were just opening but the coffee was unexpectedly nice and we ordered also some cakes and pastries as they were fresh and looked great - also tasted great! Later we realized it is connected to the Gundel restaurant.

This place is run by Gundel and it shows as their cakes and ice cream is of a higher than normal quality than most places here and the high prices reflect that. My quibble is that they could do a few things to make it a nicer place to sit and relax. On a hot day the sun shines directly on that side of the street and the concrete floor on the terrace retains the heat.

It was only a spontaneous idea to eat something and it went over the line: many-maaaaany (!!) local specialities. Just ask the people there or shoose randomly. We were 4 of us ordaring 4 different cakes and we ordered 4 more after !! We could not stop. Highly recommended!

We stumbled on this Pitisserie near Hero's Square in Budapest. Such a selection of pastry and cakes and the coffee is outstanding too.
I later discovered it is connected to the Gundel Restaurant.
Simply wonderful.
