Két kisgyerekkel tértünk be ebédelni egy vasárnap délután. Korrekt ės kedves pincérek fogadtak, a kiszolgálás elsőrangú. A tonhalsalåta bőséges volt és finom. A marhapörkölt és a rantott csirkemell is kellemes élmėny volt. A rántott hûs nem száraz, hanem frissen sült, kívül ropogós, belül porhanyós. Az ár-érték arány rendben van: egy központi helyen fekvő étterem ennyibe kerül. A somlôi galuska isteni finom, ajánlom minden édesszájû vendégnek.

Visszaterő vendégként azt kaptuk amire számítottunk. Udvarias, humoros pincér, a szakács készséggel elkészíti az ételt kisebb változtatàsokkal is (harcsapaprikáshoz galuska helyett túrós csusza).

Nagyon szuper helyen van, barátságos kis terasz. A párommal egy jeges kávéra és egy limonádéra ültünk be. A liminádét előre megkérdezve szénsavas vízből rendeltem, de szénsavmentest kaptam. Szóltam a pincérnek,hogy nem ezt kértem ,aki erre szó nèlkül hozott egy másikat,ami mellesleg nagyobb volt és elnézést kért a kellemetlenségért. Természetesen a kisebb árat számolták fel. Tévedni emberi dolog, a problèmát remekül kezelték. A kávè és így már a szénsavas limonádēm is finom volt. Elégedetten távoztunk.

This is our favourite restaurant in Szentendre. Location is superb in the main ter of this beautiful Hungarian village. Service is excellent that is always appreciated with a beautiful smile, by the Owner and waitering staff. Food quality is delightful and gracious in their serving and style of presentation. It was June 2018 when we first lunched at this splendid quality restaurant and it's quality in times we have returned has never faltered. Australians residing in Budapest, Hungary, we love the style and creativity of cooking that this restaurant presents and will return - sooner than later. Costing to lunch at this restaurant is extremely low budget for its sheer Quality.

We had our late lunch today at this restaurant. Owner / Waiter was very friendly and took the time to explain different plates in details as shown in the photos; then he also reference the prices so that we were aware the cost of each plate. Food quality is excellent, patio area is clean, toilet is well kept, price is reasonable. Good value for the money, Highly recommended.

Super spot to spend a sunny afternoon right on the central square in the picturesque town of Szentendre, watching the world go by. Great location, ultra-friendly service and the tasty steak tartare appetizer that we had with our beer was unbelievable value, easily feeding the two of us. Perfect.

Nestled in the central square by the church this small cafe and restaurant was inviting and friendly and surprisingly less busy than some of its larger neighbours. We both had grilled duck breast with cottage cheese donuts and fresh berries which was beautifully presented and the most delicious meal we’ve eaten on our 6 day visit to greater Budapest

We had a delightful lunch in this very pleasant restaurant set in the center of the sheer beauty that is Szentendre. The service and food quality was excellent. St Andrews,the English translation of the Hungarian name of Szentendre, the retaining of a village atmosphere, enhanced by the location on the Danube River makes an idealistic place to visit and enjoy. Walking what St Andrews has in its vastness to offer and enrich you is of course the most realistic way to capture its many treasures and delights. The train journey just 40 mins from Budapest and the close proximity of the railway station of Szentendre to the old town centre makes for easy and pleasant accessibility for young and old.We will return Andrew and I from Australia,sooner than later.

Went there on a sunny afternoon and gotten myself a Cappuccino, Kereskedohaz Cafe & Restaurant was quick and served it piping hot. Recommended.

First my husband and I visited this place on our honeymoon in Szentendre. The restaurant is in a pleasant area. If you are lucky and the weather is nice you can sit outside and just enjoy the athmosphere of the square. Service was good, we got our food fast. We chose one of the recommended meals. Also had Hortogágyi húsos palacsinta for appetizer and somlói galuska for dessert. We shared those but it was still filling. We were very satisfied with both service and food. For that reason I have returned this restaurant with my friends on a different occasion and I was not dissappointed. For the waiter recommendation (after I could not make up my mind) the chef even created a meal for me which was not even on the menu. Grilled chicken breast with mozzarella on top basil and ruccola with some tomatoes. My friends ordered stuffed cabbage and fried mushrooms with grilled veggies. All of us was full and enjoyed our meals. I would return again.

This is a place l will remember for the location and friendly staff and a very good wite wine... my beef gulash was all right but the panert cotelette ( schnitzel) and fried potatos was not good at all. Nice city with a lot of other restaurants l will try next visit.
